What is the defrent between a Highway patrol and a Metro Police and a city Police.

The difference between highway patrol, metro police and city police is that there scope of work. Highway patrols are police patrolling the highways in the US for any road obstruction whilst metro police are police patrolling several towns, and counties. A city police only patrol and maintains order in the city he/she is stationed.

They are law enforcement for different levels of government.

highway patrol has more authority them metro an city bc they have no jurisdiction
