For an Old Fashioned Remedy, to relieve red face, wash your face in a mixture of l part cold skim milk to l part cold water. i.e. l/1 cup skim milk and l/1 cup cold water. Immerse a clean white cotton such as T-shirt cotton in the milk and water mixture and let it sit on your face. Repeat. It feels great and makes your skin feel terrific and will keep the redness at bay for awhile. Repeat often.
Some people have naturally rosy cheeks if that's what you mean? It wont go away if this is the case.If it really bothers you that much you could try a light coat of foundation or concealer (make-up) this will cover it up. Ether that or if it's just temporary due to sport activity just splash your face with some room temperature or cold water.
