Essentially Jesus' message was apolitical regarding human social governance. His message centered around the "Kingdom of heaven" not of say Cesar, Marx, George W., or Obama. I can think off the top a couple examples that seem to fit both socialism and capitalism. In the popular sense of the term it may be easier to see Jesus more in terms of "socialism" however your question is probably more or less irrelevant to Jesus' message.
Jesus wasnt and isnt political. All he had to say about politics was to obey and honor the earthly powers. He wouldnt favor any political system over another. All are human institutions and prone to graft, greed and corruption.
