What could be done to help scars go away?

surgery,lotion anything that could get rid of big scarz the size of a average pinky

I've heard several people say that they have had good luck with a product called "Mederma." It is available over the counter. Good luck!

I have the same problem! I used scar fade but it did nothing for me. If you do get a lotion or gel or something I say get a popular name brand and not a cheap generic brand. Oh and laser surgery can get rid of scars I think.

Vitamin E is the best cream that you can get for scars and stuff like that u can also help it later on by massaging it but also you can take your 2 fingers and squeeze it to the toleration to pain and that will work the scar tissue to be less

Maderma is one option, and cocoa butter is another. If it really bothers you very much, and you can afford it, a plastic surgeon may be able to help.
