School is important because you get the skills that will make you independent and successful in your life. School life is difficult for most people, but if you persevere you will reap the fruits when you grow older.

to learn
to go to a good college
to get a good job
to get a nice house
to have a good family
but most importantly, to be smart.

If it weren't for school then we would only know basics...we wouldn't know about history or how to write an essay! or even how how to read...plus we have to a diploma in order for a job

Well, if you get bad grades and decide to drop out then you'll end up working at McDonalds, you'll probably get 8 dollars a week. If you get amazing grades and go to a good college you'll become a doctor. You'll get over thousands of dollars a month, I suppose.
