How do I take a Gmail account off of my Android phone? I have two Gmail accounts linked to it and I want to delete the one off of my phone.

To delete the Gmail account on your device, you will first open the menu and then go to the settings option. Secondly, go to the field written 'account & sync' and then move to your account right under manage accounts. After that, click your account and you will see the data & synchronization tab. Next, move down to the bottom and you will then see remove account. Click it and remove the account.

i found it similar, but there's no 'manage accounts' menu, so I just click the account. Then there's no remove options in 'data and synchronisation', so press menu button on phone. You can now remove account.

I couldn't do it directly from my gmail account. I had to go to settings on my phone. Then click on google, click on the account, then click on the menu there and have the option to sync or remove account. Took me some time but I got it. I am using a motorola atrix hd

To DELETE your Gmail Account on a Samsung Galaxy 3, go to Settings, then Samsung Account, and select the account you want to delete, and do an "UNSYNC"

i found it slightly different to the above:

settings > accounts and sync > click the account. Then there's no more options in 'data and synchronisation', so press menu button on phone. You can now remove account.
