a cat would be nice for a quiet person or someone who doesnt like to play. if you have kids or want to play with your pet, than a dog would be good. I have a chihuahua, she is trained and she is wonderful :D
If you're looking for a quiet pet that will leave you alone, probably a hamster, guinea pig, rabbit, fish etc. However, if you are looking a protective pet, you might (obviously) want to get a dog. And cats, in my opinion (from my own experience), are cute little annoying creatures that follow you around.
it depends on your own personality. Ive had cats, dogs, mice, rats & a bunny. My daughter had a tree frog & a turtle.Remember its a life-long commitment& u must be responsible enough to truly care for them.I used to love cats, til my daughter got me a dutch dwarf bunny--that bunny was the love of my life! They dont stink like cats do cuz they're vegetarians. They are not predators so wont kill birds, etc. But they are extremely delicate & must be handled the right way. They can easily have a heart attack. They are not like dogs so dont stress them out trying to chase them etc.I also had an awesome rat that liked to play jokes on people,& steal things to pack-rat & hide under the bed. I found coins, a watch, papers, tortilla, jewelry,u name it! She'd snatch them fast & run like heck to hide them. But she only lived about 2-3 years. The bunny "meadow" lived 11+years but thats old for a bunny. Dont forget the vet bills! When they get old & sick they may need 24/7 care like we do. Bunnies need fresh produce every day.
Depends on what kind of lifestyle you live. Dogs are awesome :) but require lots of attention, as do many pets. If you don't really have too much time to give, a fish or reptile would be better, but if you have the time and want to commit, go with a furry animal like a bunny, ferret, hamster, gerbil, guinea pig, chinchilla, cat, or dog. Theres even others like birds and pigs! Pick a pet that suits your personality, schedule, and budget.
