There are other ways to 'meet' or connect with your Spirit Guides other than lucid dreaming. Meditation is a great way. There are many guided meditations to meet spirit guides, totems, and more. A word f warning. It is true some spirits can try to disguise themselves as spirit guides but in truth have bad intentions. But true Spirit Guides work for your highest good in your life path. Spirit guides are always there for us whether you beleive in them or not. If you have asked your guide for help just try to be a little more patient,they dont work things rge same we do,and they are on a higher vibration to us.Also some people opt not to have too much help from spirit guides before they reincarnate to learn more in there own way whilst you spend your chosen time here. And no they are not demons or anything remotely evil like in other comments,but they are entitled to there own views!!

I have not had that many lucid dreams but I have also not asked for them. I think it is evident that your asking has been a success already. Perhaps your spirit guide is guiding you this time rather than providing you. May be it wants you to take what you have learned from your lucid dreams and make your life into one. Do in reality all that becomes you and I think your guide will be pleased.

I agree that guided meditation is a better choice if you are looking to meet your spirit guide. Generally the less complicated you try to make things the better. I would suggest checking out the book "Trance-Portation" by Diana L. Paxson. Great book, with a ton information on trance, and meditation practices, as well as ways to meet your Spirit Guide.
