Wow, not everyone is an unemployed, lazy, drunk. I worked full time in a minimum wage job for the government . I was homeless with a baby. Living in my car. I could barely afford to eat after buying diapers and her food. I'm guessing these days there are more families like this than when I was young.
People become homeless due to unfortunate circumstances. Like, the loss of a job, the loss of a loved one and debt. All of these misfortunes can happen to anyone, especially during an economic recession.CHEESE!
A lot of them are drunks and stoners. Some are homeless cause they lost their job and had no savings so they couldnt pay the rent. Some are hobo's and they do it on purpose for fun and travel. You'll never see the real hobo's begging though, they work for a living.
Most first-world countries have support for the needy and the underprivileged. There's always somewhere to turn when you are desperate, which is the reason the majority of homeless people are either mentally disabled, sick or are addicts of some form or another. All of them deserve pity as everybody as children growing up is terrified of ending up in this predicament. To actually have it play out must be a terrible and lonely feeling.
Well they are a number of ways. They could have dropped out of high school and now can't get a job. They could gotten addicted to drugs or alcohol and all their money goes to that. Or they could be just plain lazy.
Homelessness is when a person or family is living in a place NOT MEANT for human habitation-cars, abandoned building, shelters, streets, parks, underpasses, tent communities, and I've probably left out a few! Yes, drugs, alcohol, mental illness & lack of education & stable employment are all factors. But there are other unfortunate examples as well. But what about the person who is working, renting a house, & the landlord isn't paying the mortgage & the house is foreclosed on, & tenants suddenly evicted!! I've seen this happen! Homelessness carries SO MANY different causes & components, and cannot be put into a nutshell of drug abuse & mentally I'll or lazy people! Homelessness DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE, it could happen to any one of us! I challenge to you think before you judge..if you lose your job, your house burns down, with no insurance (because you couldn't afford it any a longer being unemployed). What would you do?? Just saying..Some are homeless by choice! Others are not, & it's wrong for others to be looking down on them, being judgmental about how/what got them there. But for the grace of God, there go I!!
