Will the person whom we blocked on facebook be able to know that he is blocked by us?

If they are on your friend list, and there are just so many hours in the day and you don't want to waste them reading posts on how funny his cat is every 5 minutes, you can block his posts. He'll be none the wiser.

Been there, done it, finally found peace.

no. once a person is blocked, they can not see anything about you, even on mutual friends pages

Well no? And yes .. No because he won't even be able to find you and yes because he'll start wondering where you went and why you've disappeared lol
