Is there any preferred work-arounds to getting Flash encoded videos to playback on Apple products (like the iPad)?

Jail break it,apple doesn't support flash.beware,if you jail break it you are more Likely to get a virus.

The problem I have been told with JailBreaking an Apple product, is that it voids the AppleCare warranty I paid for - and Apple will refuse to repair a JB'ed product - is this the case? If not, what do I look for to do the actual JailBreaking - what software? Thanks.

You are correct about the warranty,it will no long be active.

What I would do is get a itouch and jailbreak it.see how you like it
