I wouldn't try this sometimes it works really well but in my friends case she tried to gel break her iPhone and it messed up really bad.

You have to do it through a computer for some of the versions. And it's definitely worth it.

I would consider this carefully as I have plenty of my customers coming to me and saying they jailbreaker their phone and now the phone has turned to jelly. It's a huge risk as if something did go wrong apple will not help you and warranty is voided. If you do decide then don't fall for paying for it because that's just a scam. It's not the quality of the jail break it's who decodes it correctly. That is why some people's phones turn to clump because they haven't decoded everything and some things like "Siri" will not work. Please do research before you do it. Also with a jailbreak phone it's easier for 3rd parties track your whereabouts and they can hack into your phone. That's why apple has such a high firewall to avoid any phone theft e.g online banking, personal details etc so once again plz do some research
