Why does "furry confusion" confuse people?

In cartoons they have what is called "furry confusion":

In cartoons, they have funny animals, anthropomorphic animal characters - they are basically people in animal suits:

And in these cartoons and comics you have non-anthropomorphic animals co-existing with them. Why do people get confused when they see funny animals and non-anthropomorphic animals of the SAME species together? They do that all the time in cartoons - like in a lot of the old Disney and Warner Bros. cartoons. Why does that confuse people and why do some people make a big thing out of it? The funny animals are sentient beings they are people. Please help - thank you. Thank you.

They bring about confusion to encourage viewers to be keen. It is easier to follow when you are consistent and this makes people keen at every stage so as not to lose track.

In some of the old Looney Tunes cartoons, Porky Pig was a pig farmer. in some Daffy Duck cartoons or some comics Daffy was seen associating with non-anthropomorphic ducks in a duck pond or an a farm somewhere.I think Daffy was a farmer also raising ducks. In some Donald Duck cartoons and comics. Donald was seen associating with non-anthropomorphic ducks. In Darkwing Duck, Darkwing was seen at a rubber duck factory. Goofy had Pluto as a pet in some cartoons, and in Fantasia II Donald Duck was seen getting non-anthropomorphic ducks aboard Noah's Ark. I'm writing comics about street-fighting cats and dogs fighting crime and I am giving them pet watchdogs to guard their fort when they are away. Where is the confusion?

The humanized animals are a different species then the non-anthropomorphic ones. Why is that confusing?

The humanized cats and dogs in my cartoons/comic would probably be labeled as "Felis Erectus" and "Canis Erectus" by human scientists.

In some old Looney Tunes comics, Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd are seen competing to take care of non-anthropomorphic rabbits.
