How Do People Make Dubstep Music?

What Equipment or software do they use?
Do they just clip and crop tracks and mix samples up?
Skrillex has been my number 1 Idol and I want to make hard dubsteps. I need suggestions, or guidance. Thank You

Just like making a beat, you can either use a hardware (keyboards and mpc's) or a music software.
My suggestion is, If you are planning to make one... Start with a software since it is easier to use and resources (tutorials, samples and etc) can be found online.
A software like Dubturbo is easy to use and is a good software to start with.

Open your sequencing program, such as Reason, Ableton Live, or Cubase, load a sample drum kit or VST drum machine, then set the tempo to 140 beats per minute. Route each of the drum kit's sounds to individual tracks within the sequencing program's mixer. This is to let you add separate effects to each of the sounds.
