I have a movie on my hard drive, "The Darkest Hour". And in the title it says "The Darkest Hour.VOB". Does anyone know how to remove .VOB?

I used my laptop to put the movie on the hard drive. The movie is a VOB, but I would like it to not say it at the end of the title.

This is how id do it on my Acer Aspire. Should be similar on yours.
click the following:
-Start Menu
-Hard Disk
Find the file with the mivie. Maybe under 'Program Files' or 'Movies' or 'Media Player' or something.
When you find the movie right click once, select 'Rename' and delete .VOB.
This will only remove it from the file title not from the movie itself. For that you need specialized software.

Thanks for the comment, but unfortunately it didn't work. I do though, have another question. I would like to simply give my movie a picture, so when it's on the hard drive, it shows the picture with the title next to it, just so it looks nicer. Any chance you would know how to do that? It's still in a VOB format, and I need it to stay that way.
