I came home from work with a bad headache. I took my blood pressure and it was 192/105. Is this really bad or not.

Close to 200 is not good. I see your question is an hour old. Hoping that your BP has since come down. If it hasn't, I'd suggest a visit to an urgent care facility.

That isn't good! Take again on the same arm and again on the opposite. If it's still high, go to ER immediately!

Your blood pressure is very high and you need medical attention to determine possible solutions to this. Basically, a normal blood pressure is 120/80; the systolic pressure measured in mm Hg should be 120 whereas the diastolic pressure measured in mm Hg should be 80. Visit http://www.disabled-world.com/artman/publish/bloodpressurechart.shtml, http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/medicine/blood-pressure.htm and http://www.bloodpressurechart.me/ for more information.

Yes it is bad. You need to record you blood pressures and make an appt. with your doctor. High Blood pressure is one of the top 3 causes of kidney failure.

Immediate care in an emergency room is reasonable given the headache in the setting of hypertension.
