Okay; here's one my buddy told me in Iraq. I'm a bit scratchy on the details. 1943 Nazi Germany invades Austria-Hungary. His grandfather was a decedent of the Free Masons. He had a ring of the organization. Anyways he had just proposed to his fiance (grandmother). The problem was, his grandmother was a Jew, so she was forced to a concentration camp. The grandfather, heartbroken, had joined up with the Third Reich and prayed to be assigned to the same camp where his future wife was. Miraculously; he was. For the next two years, he brought her extra food, blankets, all that good stuff. Unfortunately in 1945; when the camp was liberated by the American Army. The American Army lined up all the German military personal, and one by one, they started dropping them. (That's war for you.) But finally when they reach him, they see his ring. They automatically take him to a tent and start questioning him. Forget what happens after that point. But in the end, his grandfather and grand mother get united, marry, and live out together in happiness. He tells the story alot better though.
A girlfriend and boyfriend get married. Then, the girl has some kids. The boyfriend tells his wife that he'll be leaving to go into the military. The girl has to take care of her kids all by herself. A year later, she receives a letter that her husband is missing and may be dead. She prays that her beloved husband is not dead. Then, she cries herself to sleep. Few days later, she meets this guy that she decides to hook up with, since her husband may be missing and dead. The wife's and new boyfriend's relationship doesn't work out well. The boyfriend cheats on her with another girl, that the wife found out when she walked upstairs to see her new boyfriend sleeping with another girl. The wife cries, and looks into a picture frame of her and her husband's wedding. She starts to drink alcohol, as she holds onto the picture frame. She passes out onto the floor.
