Honestly, I don't see the point of dating in middle school. Statistically only 1 out of every 50 teen relationships last.

Idk I was but it only leads to someone breaking your heart like my EX-boyfriend did to me he is such a player I was his 13th girlfriend but now I'm 16 and learned my lesson for sure

I was friends with a girl all through middle school, and we started dating during our last year of middle school and are still together, we're both going to be juniors in high school this year.

Most of the time either one I the two hit puberty early and is trying to please those sexual feeling or a lot of the time the younger sibling sees their older sibling doing that and they do it because their brother or sister is.

I totally agree. Every week for the four years I went to middle school I would hear that someone was dating someone, and then a few days later, they would just break up and it would be the new rage in school. I mean, i never actually paid attention to that stuff. They also get suspended now a days for kissin' in the halls or hugging. They DO need to become more mature before they ask someone to go out with them.

Kids have their reasons, but they aren't good ones. They want to seem cool, strutting around in the hallway, holding a guys hand and being all "Hey everyone! We're going out! Now you can't say we are single!" When i was in 4th-5th grade people in a relationship hugged, sat next to each other, held hands, and sometimes KISSED. It's a real issue that i just find plain inappropriate and disturbing.

You go on dates to the park the movies were ever if you live close you hangout you kiss make out do someothere stuff if your that type of person I'm 13 in 8th grade I have a boyfriend and were like a highschool couple it's not that diffrent

Its a way for middle schoolers to copy high schoolers. They want what they have. They want to be considered adults, too. The relationships don't usually last, although I know someone who just broke up with their 8th grade "boyfriend" after a year together. They did stuff together like friends would.

I have friend who met her husband in middle school and dated for 6 years and now there married and so happy and that doesn't mean its pointless it mean some people last and some don't but some get experiance
