Advice for a broken toe until I can get to the doctor tomorrow. Please read details below.

I stumped my pinky toe and the whole top of my toe and the whole top of my foot has turned black. would it help to buddy tape it? (taping it to the one next to it)?

Avoid the dr because they won't do anything but possibly give you extra strength Tylenol. Wrap it with tape and apply ice. Keep on Tylenol and Motrin to keep swelling down. Drs are too expensive!

The tape might help, but ice or frozen veggie pack will help with the swelling

I would not use tape if u have Epsom salt make a thick paste of sorts with water and salt apply a wrap with an ace bandage then put on a loose sock if there is swelling don't wrap tight use ice pack after the sock is on take two aspirin and call me in the morning :~) laughter is the best medicine.

They are RIGHT!!! the doctor isn't going to SET your toe... but he will CHARGE you for an exam . The epsom salt is the only thing I have ever found that truly works .Get a big bowl and put as HOT of water, as you can stand with a cup or more of epsom salt and soak it as long as you can ...everyday until you "don't feel like it. " It helps lessen the bruising inside and out. the tylenol or ibuprofen for pain. It will be sore a long time. So you can expect it...:( I have done that so many times. Steer clear of low lying objects when your BAREFOOT!!! Get well soon!!:)

Don't go to the doctors they won't help they'll just tell you to ice and rest it and then charge you normal pay! After all there is no cast for your toe XD!

Rest, ice and elevate your foot, your doctor will tell you no differently
