I guess cause they like texting better then talking on the phone

Cause there are some things that girls can't say over the phone so they say it through a text message.

they feel that they can convey their feelings better through emoticons and purposeful misspellings

Most of the time if I text it's more thought out and it sounds better and I feel like my point is better made. On the phone I always end up feeling like "man I should of said that"

Girls prefer much text than phone talk coz they cant express themselves

Texting is easier because sometimes it's hard to say exactly what you mean right on the spot.

Because sometimes they are doing something else, so in order to be in touch with other people, they text. I don't always like to text more, but sometimes I can't talk on the phone because I'm busy.

they can say what they really want in a message instead of having to say it to you. Saying it makes them feel embarrased. Writing it is less shy

you can take your time when you text and you can't take the time when you talk on the the phone
