What are the pros of owning a Youtube account? I'm trying to persuade my mom in to letting me have one.

Ok, so i've really wanted a Youtube account to share my art and animations, but my mom isn't convinced. So right now my plan is to write her an essay explaining why i should have a Youtube account and what I'll do on it. Can yall' try to give me some reasons why it's good to have an account on that website?

I got 2 things...
1) You can comment on other people's' stuff, and get feedback
2) You get feedback on what you do, either it be good or bad

well it could be a way to get your work out there. oh and mabe you could become famouse for your work also ask her why she doesnt want you to have one if its because she thinks that there are weirdoes out there tell her that you can make your info private such as where you live and how old you are ect. also you dont have to share all your videos you can also make them private.

you can post your own videos
you can subscribe to smosh(please do so) and other people
you can comment on videos

yup..thats all you can do if you have a youtube account

1. You can set your videos to be private so only certain people see, or public where everyone sees.
2. You'll have a chance of being notice. Now don't get your hopes up on that one. Because it happened to one person doesn't mean it will to everyone.
3. It's a good start. You can start there and escalate to art websites
4. After that, you can make your own website :) hope this helps!!!

It'll be a way to express creativity to the general public. Displaying your work can bring encouragement and positive criticism to help you become a stronger and influenced artist. Feedback could come from professionals who could give you knowledge on how to better your work and make the art you do known to the world. Also putting your art online could bring about potential marketing and gallerying. (I hope I was clear and my wording made sense)
