If you work out late at night like 11pm or 12 is it less effective?

i am trying to lose weight and i was wondering if working out late at night less effective? its the only time i have!

why would it be less effective? i think it would be more effective, because around that time you will be going to bed, and after working out and you are sleeping your letting your muscles rest, which makes them grow after working out

Actually, your muscles get worked up when you exercise. So, it would actually make it harder to sleep after exercising.

But I think exercising at night is much better than exercising in the early morning. At night, you have more food in your body from breakfast, lunch and dinner. So, you would have something to burn off while exercising.

when you work out it tears little fibers in your muscles, thats the burn you feel. its good to let your muscles rest because those fibers rebuild themselves and thats what makes your muscles bigger

No it should not matter what time you work out i work out a lot at night to sometimes when i cant sleep :)

It doesn't matter what time you do it, just as long as you're working out. You might get tired because it's so late, so of you're doing a late work out remember to try to have a lot of energy.
