What does it mean when your iphone is on itunes says it will erase it then replace whats on this current itunes... will it erase my pictures

i dont want my pictures to go away their important to me because im a photographer....... Will it only erase the songs and videos... or the whole entire iphonee

When iTunes says it will erase everything and then replace it, it means everything, including your pictures and videos. When you are prompted to update iTunes, do it, as it will backup everything you have, so you won't lose it.

You can put your pictures on your computer then put them back in... Hope I helped ...
