Why do astromomers spend so much money exploring the universe when the answers can be found in the most popular book written, the bible?

Could you give me an answer that makes sense?

The most sensible answer is that the bible doesn't have the answers. It didn't tell us what the moon is made of. It didn't tell us what was on mars. It's a book about jesus not space exploration

because astronomers are sort of like scientist. they want facts, and to have that they have to see it with their own eyes. Just hearing or reading it won't be enough. that's why they waste so much time and money overlooking what's right in front of them and going for the more complicated.

I dont find it to be matching the world science and space and astronomy. for detailed study you must explore the universe and get the first hand report and yes save ourselves embarrassment if we describe the planetary system as per bible.

Unfortunately, the bible doesn't match up with what astronomers and other scientists have found to be factual in our universe. For example, the bible says the earth was here before the sun, it also says light was here before the sun. Astronomers know those things are not true, so they study our universe to get facts.

Where in the bible does it talk about star systems, black holes, or the sun? Last time I checked, it was a book on religion, not a book on space. The Bible does not hold all of life's important questions, and I don't even know how or why you think that.
