I'm a type 2 diabetic - it's not about counting "sugar" ---it's carbs, and balance of the sugar, carbs, etc. Keep checking your glucose numbers, go by what the doctor says. I have eaten honey nut cheering, w/o any problems, when my numbers were OK. Just not too often or too much.
Honey Nut Cheerios is not the best thing for a diabetic to eat for breakfast. Diabetes is all about insulin control and to control insulin you want to restrict sugar and carbs. Foods High in protein and fiber are good choices for breakfast.
