Does PLoP boot manager support encrypted disks?

I am using Kubuntu 12.04 and currently have GRUB as my boot manager. I'd like to install PLoP boot manager though. However, my computer is set up with full disk encryption (excluding /boot) using LUKS. Will installing PLoP using it's MBR install (http://www.plop.at/en/bootmanager/mbrinstall.html) make my system unbootable? Because I'm thinking, if the drive is encrypted then PLoP has no way to tell if it's about to overwrite important data.

So my question is, is it safe to install PLoP if my disks are encrypted with LUKS?

The PLOP boot manager can accept encrypted disks. The encrypting satisfies one of the rights to privacy. By using encryption, you can be reasonably confident that your files will be protected from prying eyes. For more details, visit http://www.plop.at/en/bootmanager/index.html.

I looked at that link and it said nothing about encrypted disks... Where are you getting your information?
