Would a 600 watt power supply be enough for a reference Radeon HD 7870 and a Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 OC?

I was planning on upgrading the power supply on my Dell XPS 8500($1299 version) from a 460 watt power supply to a OCZ ModXStream Pro Power 600 watt power supply to be able to run both cards.

According to sources, 600 watts will be good. A system using Radeon HD 7870 needs a minimum of a 500 Watts. A combined +12 Volts continuous current rating of 27 Amps and one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector are also needed.
