Who out there has read "To Heaven and Back" by Mary Neil, and what did you think of it?

I was rather enthused about learning of her account of having been in heaven, but was somewhat disappointed when the book mostly turned out to be a biography about her life. Yeah, well - we all have lives. Frankly, I didn't find hers of much interest. Really thought it was going to be more "special". I was wrong. How about you?

I must say that I have not read this particular book. But I did recently read 'Heaven is for Real' and heard the account on the radio of another supposed trip to heaven and back. I put very little stock or value in these types of stories. The stories are unverifiable and some are suspect in the details. I advise that we use discernment and stick with the written Word of God as our primary source of encouragement and hope of heaven. I hate to sound so skeptical but we should recall that Satan is said to be capable of disguising himself as an angel of light. And the Scriptures warned against those who inquire of the dead. My humble opinion of what the Scriptures say.

In my opinion, the book "To Heaven and Back" by Mary Neil is amazing and worth to read. I especially loved the first chapter of the book and the details she gave. These details included her communication with the angel, how she felt when surrounded heaven. I was also amazed by the fact that she felt a deep sense of sadness when she realized that it was not her time and that she had to come back to earth.

I haven't read that book but read several others about people who went to Heaven and back. Books I read: "Heaven if For Real", "Heave is SO Real", 90 minutes in Heaven", "23 minutes in Hell", and don't recall the names of the other ones.
