if your asking a girl for her number, just getting to know her and she tells you "sorry I have a boy friend". is she playing me?

Guys ask my girlfriend for her number all the time. She tells them "Sorry, I have a boyfriend". Maybe she just actually has a boyfriend?

No it could be true and maybe she does have a boyfriend but if she doesnt then yes she is playing hard to get to see if you really do want her number enough to chase after her! :) Good luck
