Is it okay for a boy to play with dolls?

If when he's asked he goes "THEY'RE ACTION FIGURES!"

I suppose it depends on how strict your parents are and if you are afraid of other boys making fun of you.

Please, do not give in to sexual discrimination. It is absolutely ok, for a boy of any age to play with dolls. It is also the same for girls to play with dolls. How can you tell your children it is okay for one sex, but not the other? Doing this reinforces societies gender inequalities. And, really, dolls are made for boys. The difference is that they are called "action figures." Children should be allowed to explore their interests. By telling them "no", they are being held back and restricting their imagination. Let kids play. It's harmless.

I bet you turned out just fine, didn't you? And not only that, but I'm sure you became somewhat aware of a females perspective. I know for my son, as he became older it helped him with relationships.
