There is no "quick fix" for belly fat. I lost 100+ lbs. It takes a total life change. A good start for a fast change would be to eliminate empty calories. For example; if you drink regular soda switch to diet, coffee, drink it black. Eat little or no carbs so your body will use your fat for energy. Eat 5 or 6 small meals a day starting as soon as you wake up, lots of protein. And yes... You must get moving. If you're targeting your belly, do sets of crunches. A core ball works awesome for belly workouts. Good luck. Hope you have success with whichever method you use. Just remember, it takes time to build the fat, it will take time to lose it. No quick fix or pill will have any lasting impact.
Why is it that everyone wants a quick fix to a problem that took quite some time to develop, especially when the "quick fix" is usually neither permanent or even all that successful?! Yo-yo dieting has been found to actually do more harm than just not losing the extra pounds in the first place. And people who yo-yo often end up adding a little more every time they put the weight back on. Fad diets and pills do not work over the long term. When you lose fat, you lose it all over your body, not just from the area that bugs you the most. You can target certain areas as Rachel says by doing certain exercises.
