What is the benefit for a seed when squirrel buries each seed in a different place?

Report as
My answers support Susan G. Komen for the Cure® What's this?

The seeds that are planted at different locations by squirrels ensures that there is abundant food in all seasons. Squirrels often bury the seed during fall so that they can save up and prepare for winter.

Well, the benefit is for the squirrel, This way the forgers looking for squirrel's nuts won't FIND them all. I guess it might Be easier for the nuts to grow, but the squirrel doesn't do that on porpoise.
