One way we can worship God is just by being the person He has created us to be. When we know The Lord and have His Presence in our heart and life, and we just walk daily in that same Love and heart that He has and is. That is Worship. Then, also, if we give Him thanks in prayer and song, that too is a form of worship. When we love others just from the love that is naturally in our hearts, I believe He probably sees this as worship. So, really even though we need to be mindful to worship Him, I think we automatically worship Him too, even tho not premeditated necessarily. The trees and the flowers, the breeze and the bugs....they worship Him....just by being!

a very good question...in my opinion worship is when a person puts there higher power on a pedestal.they believe that there is nothing better or more important than what they worship. prayer is the communication with what they worship. whether its asking for guidance, forgiveness or anything else its their way of contacting their higher power. hope this helps you.

Well, you can worship God by being sincere in you're feelings toward Him. It's thanking Him, telling Him how you feel, singing to Him, and spending time in His presence. It's a heartfelt action and should be practiced by many Christians. I hope I answered okay! God bless you! ;)

I believe prayer is me communicating with God, and worshiping is acknowledging God as being God and giving thanks and praise to God. So i feel prayer can be a form of worship. But one can also be asking for guidance and aid during prayer as well. Also, I believe worship is not limited to prayer. I can be singing a song about God's grace, or testifying to another person, I can study and read, and much more; I believe all these are ways of worshiping God. But for me, worship does not have a negative connotation. Hope this help to provide a different prospective. God bless

Biblically, worship had two meanings. One was "to bow down," and the other was "to serve." Pray comes from "petition" and refers to making a request. Modern uses of the word prayer include meditation with a deity in mind.

Prayer is a subset of worship. You can worship without praying but you cannot pray without worshipping. Those that come to God (i.e. worship) must believe that He is a rewarder of those that dilengly seek Him (i.e. pray).

I think worship is showing Love and reverential respect to God; Prayer is talking with God.

Worship is putting something, significant or not, before yourself. Boy child's sometimes worship a women's body and girl child's sometimes worship Justin Bieber. Some people worship ideas and some people worship themselves (they put nothing before themselves in this case.) Worship is an act of self sacrifice in most cases. Prayer costs nothing and can be done to anything with usually the same or similar result. Praying is having a relationship with something, that there is no proof of that talks back, and asking for things sometimes or complaining about quality control or bad service.

"Worship is the submission of all our nature to God.
It is the quickening of the conscience by His holiness;
the nourishment of mind with His truth;
the purifying of the imagination by His beauty;
the opening of the heart to His love;
the surrender of will to His purpose -
and all of this gathered up in adoration,
the most selfless emotion of which our nature is capable,
and therefore the chief remedy of that self-centeredness
which is our original sin and the source of all actual sin."
(William Temple, 1881 - 1944)
