Is it possible to not know that your water (as in pregnancy) has broken if you're asleep and are a heavy sleeper?

if a pregnant womans water breaks while shes asleep, can she sleep through it and not know it has ruptured

You'd more than likely become aware that your water broke even if sleeping. The warm amniotic fluid coming out will get your attention even in sleep plus the actual feeling of your water breaking. And a lot of the times when the water breaks it triggers contractions if they haven't already started. You have nothing to worry about. You'll know when your labor starts.

I guess so. She might have a dream about peeing or something, though.

Often, it comes out as a slow leak that you don't notice at all. No need to worry though because once it is broken, your contractions will increase, so you'll know it's time to go. :-)
