Around my neighborhood they always sell Tacos. <3

What are you raising money for, a specific project or purchase? It takes volunteers and money to run a fundraiser. I like silent auctions-- get businesses to donate goods and people bid on a price they would pay.
Center it around a potluck, some music and let them bid for about an hour or so.

Chicken barbecue, Chinese auction basket raffle, car wash, bake sale, used books, spaghetti dinner , family movie night, Carnival, hot dogs and burgers, candy, pizza, 50/50 split.

Thus saith the Lord:
Malachi 3:8-10
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me, But ye say, Wherein have we robber thee? In tithes and offerings.
Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you put a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

It has been said if all the members of my church world wide, would give just their tithes there would be more than enough money to support the school system from kindergarden through four years of college; is not that a sad thought indeed? I think if every God fearing, believing person would give just there tithes; poverty would be wiped out.
