For those of you that thinks that God gets a kick out of sending people to ((((HELL)))) you are greatly mistaken. Man sends himself there by refusing to turn from their wicked and evil ways.========read God will speak for himself listen=====Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? (Ezekiel 33:11 KJV)=======I don?t want you to die, says the Sovereign LORD. Turn back and live! (Ezekiel 18:32 NLT)============The Lord isn?t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. (2 Peter 3:9 NLT) Last but not lease (((HELL))) was not made for man but for Satan and his fallen angels=========?Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ?Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire (((prepared for the devil and his demons.))). (Matthew 25:41 NLT) Now after having said all that some of us had loving parents were they consider none love because they disciplined us, or is our country evil because it puts people in prison or jail who violates laws? The answer is (((NO)) and neither is God for giving the Devil and mankind who follow him their just punishment. They chose that path and they must suffer the consequences.
God is love. He wants you to worship Him. The punishment for sin is death and the gift from God is eternal life. If you do not believe that He is real, you will go to Hell as a punishment, but if you accept Him as your Savior, you go to Heaven. "John 3:16 says, 'For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son ( Jesus ) to die on the cross for our sins that we may have eternal life' "
What do other religions have to do with it? Who cares what false religions think about God? God doesnt. Their beliefs have no bearing on Him. God is a loving God but being loving doesnt mean being a patsy or pushover. Like any good, loving father God can be firm and even harsh when the situation calls for it. He loves us enough to have given us free will rather than treating us like puppets and He gave us two choices, Him or Not Him. And He makes very clear - choose Him and the ultimate consequence will be very very good but choose Not Him and the eventual consequence will be very very bad. With no negative consequences there wouldnt really be a choice and so no true free will.
Hell is real. It is justice. While it is absolutely true that God loves all people unconditionally, this does not mean God saves people unconditionally. We humans were created with the tremendous gift of free will. We can freely choose God or reject Him. He did not make us robots programmed to obey Him. He created us in His image and likeness (which necessarily includes free will), and this creation was an act of love. Now with free will comes the possibility that we will freely choose to reject God. What God desires, however, is our freely given love and obedience. He constantly invites us to love Him, but we will not (indeed, cannot) force us. There is no such thing as "forced love." For love to be actually love, it must be freely given. (My answer continues in the comments)
because ppl who are bad cannot live in heaven, and some people wont change and therefore need somewhere to stay other than heaven cos "no unclean thing may dwell in the kingdom of god" or something like that... i cant remember the exact verse.
Hell is for Lucifer (satan) and his followers. It's not intended for man. God created man in His Own Image and for His Pleasure. We are the "apple of His Eye". But, we can choose to go there, although it is not His Will that Any should perish. It is His Will that ALL should have Eternal Life!
GOD loves ALL of us but he made Hell because lucifer (aka Satan) wanted to be like God and rule over as did some of the angels so he made Hell for them and anybody else like them or Don't believe in Him. God still loves those people but, if you are not worthy in Heaven then you go to Hell.
I tend to see hell as a black hole. Once you pass the event horizon, you disappear from the timeline of the normal universe, and you cannot return to it. Time becomes a tensor of direction in a black hole, as the future is spin ward and inward. If you enter the event horizon, times passes completely differently; what is an moment for you is eternity for the normal timeline. Oh, and it's pretty hot in a black hole!
Because either those gods are demons manipulating people from the underworld, they are not a loving god or because there is no real god and hell is just a tactic used by ancient illusionists to manipulate the credulous by nature into behaving according to a dogma they prescribe. Why? Whats a tyrant without slaves?
1 John 4:8 says: "He that does not love has not come to know God, because God is love." A lot of people believe that hell is a place where the wicked will pay for what they have done in their life, that it's God's way of punishing them for their actions. How could a God of love create hell, a supposed place of torment and pain? God is our loving and caring father and creator and would never do anything to hurt us.. Saying that God created hell is like saying that it is acceptable for a father to put his child's hand on the stove and burn him as a punishment. The Bible clearly states that when we die, we simply cease to exist. "For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all" (Eclesiastes 9:5).
We tend to see God as a kind, merciful Being whose love for us overrides and overshadows all His other attributes. Of course God is loving, kind, and merciful, but He is first and foremost a holy and righteous God. So holy is He that He cannot tolerate sin. He is a God whose anger burns against the wicked and disobedient (Isaiah 5:25; Hosea 8:5; Zechariah 10:3). He is not only a loving God-He is love itself! But the Bible also tells us that He hates all manner of sin (Proverbs 6:16-19). And while He is merciful, there are limits to His mercy. "Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon" (Isaiah 55:6-7). http://www.gotquestions.org/eternal-hell-fair.html
That depends on the religion's definition of "love" and "Hell." The most popular concept for Hell in the Christian New Testament is Hades, similar to the Catholic Purgatory. This makes a lot of sense, as it allows imperfect people to be perfected post partum. The Protestant concept of eternal damnation in a lake of fire reflects the Tartarus River of Greek mythology. This only occurs once in the Christian New Testament and is reserved for "Fallen Angels." I haven't yet taken the time to study this to see if it makes sense because it likely doesn't apply to me or anyone I'll ever know.
Hell was created by Jesus for the three days he was "in the grave". He took upon himself the ONE sin of rejecting God (although he was innocent). His punishment, as will all, was Hell. Only it hadn't been created until he went there, walked through it and he still holds the keys to it to this day! Did God create Hell? No. Man's sin did.
Yes, God is love (1 John 4:8) - Jesus resurrected his friend Lazarus from Hell-John 11:43,44; Hell is mankind common grave - it is not a place of eternal punishment. When we take the time to truly read and meditate on what the Bible have to say in respects to the living and the dead we will see that The Almighty has a purpose for mankind and this earth was made for mankind to enjoy. (Psalms 37:9,10) Revelation 21:3,4)
Many people asking his question and I have answered to those.here is the answer that might help you to see that God didnt create hell and there is no hell. Some religions teach that a person after death will go to hell. This teaching dishonors God.He is a God of love and would never make people suffer in this way.How would you feel about a man who punished a disobedient child by holding his hands in a fire? Would you respect such a man? In fact, would you even want to get to know him? Definitely not! You would likely think that he was very cruel.God doesn't tortures people in fire forever. What happens at death is no mystery to the Creator of the brain. He knows the truth, and in the Bible, he explains the condition of the dead. Its clear teaching is this: When a person dies, he ceases to exist.Death is the opposite of life. The dead do not see or hear or think. Not even one part of us survives the death of the body.We do not possess an immortal soul or spirit.(Eccl.9:5, 6, 10) The life we enjoy is like the flame of a candle. When the flame is put out, it does not go anywhere. It is simply gone.If you would like to know more about God, please contact me, write me, I would be happy to help.

The god many people worship is a god created from an ego-image. This is not god.God is the universal mind, the organizing power of the universe...which is love..the glue of the universe. There is no one that will judge or punish you in the afterlife. You are the only one that will do that. There is no hell but the one in your head...Christianity was introduced in the roman times in order to manipulate people...and get away with bad behaviour....has nothing to do with the real god who is everywhere at all times....he is the one in you and me that make us alive...we are all god....little pieces of him...but we are all just one great big being. Hell ?No, sorry, that`s ridiculous and a tool for people manipulation.
Eccl 9:5 has been quoted and stated here. 2Timothy says we need to reason on the scriptures and doesn't say interpret them. That is where problems start. Since the dead have no conscious existence, hell cannot be a fiery place of torment where the wicked suffer after death. What, then, is hell? Examining what happened to Jesus after he died helps to answer that question. The Bible writer Luke recounts: "Neither was [Jesus] forsaken in Hades [hell, King James Version] nor did his flesh see corruption."* (Acts 2:31) So Jesus was in hell, the grave, but he was not abandoned there, for he was raised up, or resurrected. Separating fire from Hades, or hell, the Scriptures say: "Death and Hades were hurled into the lake of fire." "The lake" mentioned here is symbolic, since death and hell (Hades) that are thrown into it cannot literally be burned. "This [lake of fire] means the second death"—death from which there is no hope of coming back to life.—Revelation 20:14.
"Here is to good spiritual wisdom from above and not man's thoughts."
I have an answer for you, tell me if it makes sense. Suppose someone says for the entire span of there life, "God I don't want to be with you" consistently over and over again and they truly mean it then how would it be fair for God to make them stay with Him? There is only way and that is Jesus.( Jesus said to him, "I am the way the truth and the life, no one gets to the Father accept through Me") outside of that is only hell in the grand scheme of eternity. It is God's will that none should perish. God wants us to know and be with Him so badly that He sent His only begotten Son to die as the sacrifice for our sins in order that we wouldn't all go to hell. I can tell you right now, without Christ Jesus, I would burn forever because I can never be perfect. No one but Jesus has walked this earth a perfect human being. He is love. Just as darkness is the absence of light and cold the absence of heat evil is the absence of God's love in a man, or woman's, heart. Religion has nothing to do with it, it's a relationship with Jesus.

At John 11 (This has to do with when Jesus friend Lazarus died) Jesus had said at John 11:11-"Our friend Lazarus sleepeth." To which his disciples had replied at verse 12:"Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well." In actuality, as it said in verse 14, Jesus had told them that Lazarus had died. When one is sleeping there is no activity. At verse 17, when Jesus had gotten to the memorial tomb, he found that Lazarus had been asleep in death for four days already;and according to some, Lazarus had been in heaven already since he had been a good man, but if he (Lazarus) had gone to heaven would that mean that Jesus would pull Lazarus out of heaven and bring him back to earth as brought out at verses 43,44-"And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go."

Can We Suffer After Death?
The Bible says at Romans 5:12: Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men. Really, then, is it reasonable to believe that people suffer in hellfire for their sins, when Adam, the one who brought death upon the entire human race, simply became dust after dying1 Corinthians 15:22.
We all come under the same law that Adam was under. The wages sin pays is death. Moreover, once a person dies, he is acquitted from his sin. (Romans 6:7, 23) If both good and bad people die and nobody experiences suffering after death, where is God' s justice
of course it wouldnt. i mean your parents love you. but would they sit there and punish you for all eternity just because you didnt tell them you loved them. in fact would they punish you for that at all? would they punish you for 50 years just because you did something so simple as look at pornography or drink alcohol. probably not. which doesnt make sense for god to do that. youre going to punish somebody for all eternity because they disobeyed you for only 50 years, give or take a few? dude, thats not a loving god. thats saying hey while youre alive im going to bless you but now that youre dead theres no stopping me now. thats basically saying: "because you disobeyed me im going to make your life and your consequences literally a million times worse. and seeing this is eternity were talkign about, more than a trillion times worse. just because of one simple thing you did on earth? no thats not a loving god at all. not even the most demented parents in the world would to that to a child
There was no hell until the devil came into the story. Before that, there was no sin, so no need for a place of punishment that is called Hell. He made Heaven and nobody can enter Heaven with sin, unless they believe on the lords name and have asked for for forgiveness from him. Before he sent Jesus, everyone was punished. A way into Heaven after Devil came was definitely the Lords love.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
