NO Animals have a totally different insides. (lack of a better way to say) then we do. I would contact my vet first. Also the dosage depends on the weight of your dog. As well as what the medicine is for and made with. It could really harm him/her. There are some cases that human Meds can cross over, but again the Vet knows about what's good and bad. I know we all would like to be able to help our pets without going to the Vet. Vets are expensive as well are the Meds. However, rather spend the money than have bigger problems and costs down the road. If u know what I mean.
What Imendel said. Contact your vet for correct medication and dosage. One of my dogs got kennel cough after boarding at the vets kennel. The vet examined her free of charge and provided medicine free of charge as the cough was persistent.
