Important question: preferably girls answer please :)

Okay so every time i'm on my time of the month, my stomach reallllyy hurts to the point where I can't do things the normal way. I've been told to suck it up but it's a type of pain that I simply can't do that. I take extra strength midol and it barely works, is this normal?? Is there any other way to help the pain??

Well I would go to the doctor to see of there was something really wrong instead of just pain maybe he can provide you with a stronger medication to your needs

That happens to me to - usually only when I wear tampons though. Heat it, eat yogurt, do sit-ups ( it seems like it wouldn't help but it does ) take a warm shower or bath, read a book or do something to get your mind off of it.

Thank you, I don't wear tampons (too nervous to try) but I will attempt those other methods, they seem like they might work.

My friend had this problem too. It turned out she has a cist (spelling? sorry) on her ovaries. Not a big deal. The cist was surgically removed & she's fine. Go to a doctor & get checked out, to be safe. (:
