What are some good colleges for someone who wants to major in Special Education Teaching?

I want to become a Special Ed. Teacher and I've been looking at colleges and I really like Barton College in North Carolina but its a private school and really expensive. Any suggestions?

I don't think it matters where you get your degree from as long as you are passionate and committed to your studies. I have been to 3 different colleges (yes, it is a long story) and am finally graduating with my degree is Early Childhood Education with a specialization in SPED and have found that I get what I put into each course. I would go with what is the best deal for your money. If you work hard, the school will not matter.

Well the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) specializes in Education and Special education. UCA is one of the best colleges in the country when it comes to teaching programs.
