When I was 4 years old I was at my freind chases house with my mom and I had slipped into their pool as I lay there chase and his little brother getting the pool net to fish me out I saw skeletons surrounding me and all my life fell into perspective I was 4 I know but it all just flew off even then I saw heaven and I recognized Jesus there he told me "it's not time yet" I replied asking how will I live and he said my friend chase would save me I then fell to earth at a drastic speed and closed my eyes I then gasped for air as my friend chase and his little brother William pulled me out with a pool skimmer as I told them what happened I was still thinking of Jesus
When I was 6 I was going around the pool and I fell into the deep end and couldn't breathe. I kept gasping for air and couldn't get any and I blacked out but my aunt came and got me. I don't remember her helping me I just remember seeing her when I woke up and people telling me I shouldn't do that again.
Nothing close to "near death" but I remember this one time I was swimming with a younger friend and we were at this deep part of the pool. My friend started panicking because he didn't know how to swim so he clutched me like there was no tomorrow. I could barely swim either because he was pulling me down. We managed to survive (duh) but it was a really terrifying experience because I can still remember the panic I had. It felt like someone was seizing my gut and wrenching. Hard. Hence the name gut wrenching experience. My brain also felt wild with horror and also numb too. It's hard to explain. I'm sure yours was more terrifying though. As I said before, we weren't in any real danger. We would of been saved if we actually started to drown.
I don't remember it well enough to give a good description, but when I was around 11 lived in Florida, I was swimming with some friends and we were taking turns going in between the ladder, when I was coming up in between I got stuck, after a couple of minutes I decided I was going to go back the other way, so I pushed up on the ladder so it'd push me down faster, but when I pushed up the ladder came out enough to let me through.
I was pulled deep into the ocean by a current when I was 8 and sucked under everything felt like in slow motion. I never have been afraid of the water after it I got back up and I started swimming back I was under for about a minute. But I am a very strong swimmer so I could get back out and thank goodness I had that on my side. What happened to you?
One time, I was swimming in my pool with my older brother and we had one of those inner tube chairs except this one had netting where the hole is and I was under water while he was sitting in it and when I came up for air, I realized I was underneath the chair and I barely made it up after having a mini heart attack under water, Jesus was watching over me, I almost didn't make it
The first instance was that I was about 10 and didn't know how to swim. I was at a campground swimming pool (with no lifeguard) when some older boys decided to "teach me how to swim". They threw me in the deep end. I sank like a stone. I hit bottom and came up 3 times. On the last time I was going down and knew I was going to die. At the last instant when all was dark one of the boys reached down and pulled me out. Then they all ran for it. I lay beside the pool for a good 15 minutes puking up water and gasping for air. When I finally got enough strength to get up I took two steps and a guy got out of his lounge chair and accidentally knocked me right back into the pool. There I went again up and down. 3 times again. The guy started to walk away and I knew I was dead for sure that time. With my last breath I hollered help and went down. When all was black a hand reached down and pulled me out. The dude had turned around and saved my life. I spent another 15 minutes puking water and gasping for air. When I was able to I crawled as far away from the pool as I could get.
