well if you are driving and you get into an accident how will they know to call you?

If you aren't on the phone you probably won't be in an accident. also, other people have phones, the cops can make contact. People were reporting accidents long before cell phones.

Contrary to what cellphone companies want you to believe, cellphones aren't a necessity and there is probably less kids with phones than ya think

I wish. I have 9 and 10 year olds show up here with phones BUT the phones dang well stay in the barn
