LOL in my house we have a rule. Cuss all you want, but if you fail to conjugate verbs correctly you get your mouth washed out. Bad grammar is more unattractive than passing gas in public and it has further reaching consequences than you may realize in terms of limiting your salary and putting you in peer groups that may land you in prison or married to a creep. Whatever you do in life, develop a command of the English language.
In all honesty your parents probably freak out when you use incorrect grammar because they want you to sound intelligent when you speak. When you use incorrect grammar it can make you sound unintelligent, and I'm sure your parents don't want that.

Seariousely your Parrents dont want you to grow up and be a lazy heathen slob and if you act and talk like a lazy heathen slob then that is more and likely what you will be and attract and in up with and if you end up with a job it will be a minimum wage job .
because parents want for their kids to have better opportunities than they've had in life. When they hear you speaking like a complete lazy-assed moron, they see that your future is going to be bleak. If you are too lazy to learn how to speak properly (or spell correctly), people you meet are going to assume you're too lazy to care about your future. Can you say, "y'all want fries wif dat sam'ich?"
I grew up with parents that spoke very little english and I always had trouble with grammar throughout grade school but, I usually got by. It was not until I went to college did I realize using proper grammar and pronunciation really was important for professors and many other intellects to take you seriously. Therefore, I now make the effort to always speak and write in proper grammatical english. You should be glad you have parents that try to correct your grammar. You will benefit from it especially when you are interacting with people, it does make a very good impression.
