How do you scare off wild animals?

I have two chickens and I want two protect them from predators... Can I put something up or something? I need to protect them from hawks (especially), raccoons, coyotes, red tailed foxes, owls, weasels, cats. Any suggestions?

Hope one of these will help. I personally would guess maybe some reflectors or something? I'm sure night predators wouldn't like a sudden bright light too much. And maybe if you had some way of making loud noises...? That would scare them off. And make sure your chickens are in a sturdy and safe coop obviously.

Get 2 more chickens and put them closer to the wild animals. That'll distract them for a little bit.

My uncle had a farm and kept small animals and used a car battery to electrify the cage they where kept in

A completely enclosed chicken coop with a hardwood roof is a great idea, but I would also have one or two big dogs in the yard. I have an aunt out West who loves chickens and she also has peacocks and peahens. She and my uncle had cats who would climb up on the roof for safety, but coyotes eventually killed the cats, even the good mouser. Their dogs are purebred Great Danes. The chickens are all fine, although there are rattlesnakes all over the property. I have NO idea what they did about the snakes.
