Is Native American-Indian language dead?

Report as

That's a lot of languages and each one has it's own answer. In Alaska it's quite common to hear the native languages, some more than others depending on where you are.

Well the languages of the world are well still. You sure know that place well. Tell me, have you painted or written lately?

I haven't had a place to paint since my hospital visit but I can still sketch and draw which gives me an outlet. And I like to make the most of my coloring book time with Owen. HaHa,

There are a lot of different Native American languages (actually some european languages as well) that are slowly fading away.
The elderly speakers of some languages are passing away and taking their knowledge with them.
Many tribes are trying to keep the languages alive by recording their elders and some are actively teaching these languages to their young.
