Is it rtue that the the show MY NAME IS EARL was canceled after four seasons in 2009

It is true that the show, my name is earl was canceled after four seasons in 2009. However, there have been talks between Jason Lee and Greg Garcia about the finishing of the show but they have not yet come to a conclusion.
