It's hard. You go cry if you feel you need to. Cry your heart out. But after that move on. You don't hold on to the hurt and let him win by you being the one left hurt. You move on and prove to yourself, forgive yourself and be the BEST you that you can be. Not to show off on him. But for you, for you to have a better future, a better future with someone else. Definitely not with someone who treats women like that. NO GIRL EVER HAS TO BE STOOPID OVER A GUY. Trust is earned not given. Learn from this and move on and be happy with the people that you love.
Remember that as beautiful as diamonds are. They are made with the toughest pressures the earth can give. That's why they are the most precious and beautiful stones on earth.

Know that this person was sick and needs help. No one deserves to be mistreated, mentally or physically. I would suggest that you don't get in another relationship for about six months. Now is the time to work on you and trust your inner instincts. Have some fun with other girls, go for walks, enjoy the beauty God has given us, exercise and take care of you. Give yourself time to heal from the abusive relationship and thank God he's gone. He did not deserve you.
First I suggest that you get help. It's not a healthy relationship if abuse is involved. Second, I think it's best that you get with a group of family/friends that can support you and boost your confidence back up. If you're religious, maybe you can talk to a church group or something along those lines. If no family/friends are around at the moment, there are plenty of opportunities to join a community therapy group. It's likely that you'll find one in your area. If none of that helps, trust me, girl; there are plenty of fish in the sea. & Just wait, because there will be someone out there willing to help you. I'm sure you're worth the battle ;) good luck
Never let anyone hit you or hurt you again. If this picture is you, your beautiful. Anyone who does not love and respect you, get rid of them. Abrusive mates destroy beautiful things because of the ugly in thier own hearts. You cant save them, but you can save you...leave.
