I have my computer sharing an outlet with an room a/c and the computer keeps shutting down. Is there a connection between the two?

is the angular load combative to the digital load.

When the a/c needs more power, the power to the computer is not enough, and your computer shuts down. Only way to deal with that is to find an outlet for one that is not on the same breaker as the other, or run your a/c at a different time than when you are on your computer.

There is a connection to that. The a/c uses more energy than the computer and thus the power to the computer is not enough, and your computer shuts down. This can also be due to heat decipation your system into shutting down.
