I want to file a trademark for a product that is currently in the process of prototype,
under which section i need to file?

You can file your trademark application onlineusing the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS). You can also mail it to the Commissioner for Trademarks or deliver it by courier to Trademark Assistance Center. You should also search the USPTO databasebefore filing your application, to find out whether someone already has the trademark rights.
