I got my cousin for her 11th birthday nail polish, hair stuff-like the Bed Head stuff- a Rush card, lotion, or something like those things. Since she's turning 11, she's probably going into 5th or 6th grade, so don't get her the Mr. Bubbles lotion or something baby-ish because she will probably be embarrassed. Get her some lotion from Bath And Body Works, or a place in the like. jewelry
I agree about making it a girls day! I have 5 daughters and 8 granddaughters and they never forget a day devoted entirely to them. Pedicure, manicure, hair, lunch, show or shopping etc. I always remember those days with my Mom. You don't have to be her Mom to do it. A special Danskin outfit for dancing is the bomb. :)
Ask her! A really nice gift is a cool card with a gift card to a store she likes. I know it may not seem personal enough, but at that age, having money she can spend on herself is a very big deal. Target seems to be popular with girls of ALL ages--heck, I'm in my 60s and I LOVE getting a Target gift card!

If she doesn't already have one an iPod touch? It depends on your price range too, if she seems mature enough, you could get her a prepaid phone I got mine when I was 11 and still had it 3 years later. Or since she likes dance, you could get her an iTunes gift card, ya know so she can dance to music. Or a gift card to Justice.
My daughter just turned 11 - She wanted a cell phone, a laptop, t-shirts, shoes, nail polish, makeup, hair stuff - like curling iron and straightener... not just hair spray and clips, jewelry, decorations for her room (Hot pink and black - Paris themed) Varsity jacket, pedicure, TOMS shoes, dresses, scarfs, purses/bags etc.
I have a girly girl neice and she got these for her b-day: Glow in the dark nail varnish Lipgloss by sephara Pink blackberry curve 9320 Sims 3 Perfume Hair accessories A trip to a spa Neon nail art pens Ipad
I'm turning 11 and I really want an ipod5. Last year my mom got me a pandora and every year she gets me some charms. If you don't think she's mature enough for that stuff, get her gift cards to her favorite store!! Don't buy her clothes yourself because if she doesn't like it, she would feel bad. It's better because she knows her own style. She's her! Also, socks are always good to have. My parents always get me like one BIG present. Last year they redid my room themselfs and it was under $350!!! Nail polish is also nice. If you think she's old enough, maybe makeup? Idk. I hoped this helped! Tell her I wish her a happy birthday!! Love, Taylor
