Does praying really count ?

Do you even understand the concept of prayer? For your information prayer is crucial for a healthy Christian life. Prayer is our communicating with our creator; In short it is anyone talking with God. We need prayer as much as we need oxygen, water, or food. Yes I would say prayer really counts.

Don't hold your breath if it doesn't work. But just remember, your praying worked if things go well, and just think God works in mysterious ways , if things don't go well. Because it's never his fault.

If you are praying to the true God ( Father Son Holy Spirit) than 100% yes

Yes it counts. It also has to be aligned with God's word (the Bible)

Think of prayer as talking to your father. Does talking to your father ever get you anything? If so, is it because you need it, because he wants to give, or because of the conversation?

Praying is how we talk to God. God made us to know, love, and praise Him. Prayer helps us become closer to Him. Just like you talk with your friends, you should also talk to God so you can know more about Him and what He wants you to do. God speaks back to us through the Bible, His Word. In the Bible God tells us we can pray to Him. We should pray, but we should also want to pray. What a privilege to talk to the God who created the universe! He is all-powerful, so He can answer any prayer that is in His plan for us.

Absolutely, as long as your prayer is to God and not some made up fake. The power of prayer is amazing. Tho you must remember God answers as He wishes not as we wish.
